Wrapping a Cheater Povoinik

When you don't have the time to sew a fitted povoinik, you can tie a kerchief to resemble one.

The kerchief should be just big enough to tie around the head and it works best if it's folded into a semi-triangular shape.

This towel happens to be a little too small to stay secure.
You could tie a piece of card-woven trim or embroidered ribbon around where the red stripe is for extra security and decoration.
